Mr. Lillig's career in healthcare spans nearly 27 years starting with Becton-Dickinson Corporation. Mr. Lillig spent seven years with the National Health Laboratories which is a national blood and pathology laboratory owned by the Revlon Health Care Group. Here he delivered consistent annual sales increases of 43%, increasing revenue to $12 million over seven years.
After leaving National Health Laboratories, Mr. Lillig co-founded Syscor, a holding company for Quantum Laboratories (a clinical blood testing and pathology laboratory); Intelysis, Inc., (a physician office management software company) and Asterion, a UNIX-based ASP model software company for IPA, IPO, MSO and managed care organizations.
Mr. Lillig spent the next several years consulting to pharmaceutical, clinical research and medical device companies. In 2003, he joined MetaCyte, Louisville's Life Science Business Lab, as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence, where he co-founded 3DR Laboratories.
