Recognizing the growing need for trained personnel to produce post-processing image reconstructions, we created 3DR Academy. It’s the first online curriculum dedicated to training in volumetric imaging through self-paced, interactive online learning which will satisfy continuing education requirements for several medical specialties.
Since 2004, 3DR’s outsourcing services has enabled hospital radiology departments and stand-alone imaging centers to send out medical image data generated by multi-slice computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners and access a reconstructed 3D image within hours…or even in minutes in the case of emergencies.

- June 2007: Launched a nationwide marketing effort to provide ‘bundled’ 3D outsourcing services in conjunction with the 3DR ‘Thin Client’ hardware/software and integrative consulting services. These solutions can range from a fully implementable, integrated LAN at your enterprise or partial to full ASP solutions
- July 2007: Initiated first fully integrated 3D outsourced service using ‘Thin Client’ solution that is seamless to any PACS environment and signed first “This Server” client
- June 2007 Launched “Bundled” services marketing process
- May 2007: Signed OEM agreement with Mercury Computer to provide an exclusive, branded 3DRThin computing system and software
solution for advanced image processing and distribution through an imaging enterprise. Launched 3DRThin to the marketplace
- February 2007: Officially adopted ‘Thin Client’ strategy for further expansion of 3DR’s original outsourced business model
- November 2006: Initiated Business Strategy Reassessment
- January/December 2005: Proof of concept phase initiated. Performed first contracted 3D reconstructions through the remote ‘Fat Client’ model with medium to large-sized hospitals
